KENYA - Water Projects

About KENYA - Water Projects

At ImpactHope, we strongly believe in sustainability as a key element of overseas initiatives. We aim to support effective organizations and projects, enabling them to become more self-reliant and less dependent on foreign funding. Collaboration with Vision Ministries Kenya (VMK), overseeing efforts in 40 smaller communities, is a cornerstone of our mission.

In the fall of 2021, we successfully drilled the first borehole at the Olkesumet Prayer Response Center. This water well provides clean water and serves as a focal point for spiritual gatherings, where individuals gather for prayer sessions, including all-night meetings on the hill. Plans for mid-scale agriculture projects to enhance sustainability and empower Kenyans are underway. The presence of this well is crucial in providing the necessary resources for these endeavours.

As we continue these initiatives, our next ambitious endeavour is the Pokot water project. This project aims to not only bring clean drinking water to the Pokot community by constructing a 4 km pipeline from a mountain spring, but also future agricultural initiatives will be planned! Our goal is to ensure that the Pokot community gains reliable access to safe drinking water, improving health, and empowering residents in developing food security for the region.

By supporting these endeavours, you're not just providing water – you're creating opportunities, fostering sustainability, and empowering communities for generations to come.
