Join Us in Cultivating Hope for Niger's Future!
Welcome to the Food Security Project in Niger, where we're sowing the seeds of change and nurturing a brighter tomorrow. In partnership with the dedicated farmer Ron Gerwing, hailing from the rich farming heritage of Canada, we're embarking on a journey that transcends boundaries and transforms lives.
Niger, with its vast potential and over 100,000 hectares of arable land, holds the promise of self-sufficiency in food production. However, the reality is starkly different for the local communities in the Maradi region. They grapple with food insecurity, a challenge that has persisted for too long.
Our mission is clear: we're not just here to provide a meal for today but to 𝐬𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞. Together, we aim to support more than 30,000 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 in Maradi by introducing innovative farming techniques and sustainable practices that will secure their food supply and livelihoods.
But it doesn't stop there. We believe in the power of compassion and goodwill to ignite lasting transformation. Beyond enhancing food security, our project seeks to foster positive change within these communities.
None of this would be possible without the generous contributions of donors like you. Your support will help us:
✨ Provide life-giving water wells and solar-driven pumps to farmers in need, ensuring a consistent supply of water for their crops.
✨ Purchase essential irrigation equipment, a vital component in boosting agricultural productivity and ensuring food security.
✨ Support Ron Gerwing's travel and lodging expenses as he dedicates himself to this noble cause, bridging continents to make a difference.
Your donation, no matter the size, will be a drop in the wellspring of change we're creating together.
Join us today in being the change-makers, the cultivators of hope, and the champions of compassion in Niger and other African nations!

Our goal this year is to drill a well, implement irrigation, and transform the land for one farmer. With success in this initial phase, we aim to expand and drill up to 10 wells in the following year. The total cost for one well is $6,000 CAD. To designate your donation to this cause, please choose 'Drill A Well' in the subsequent donation page.
